Planting on time with perfect conditions are critical for a successfull start to a season.  We have invested heavily in planting equipment to be able to serve you in a timely manner, using a 16 row John Deere corn planter, centre fill, individual row shutoffs, swath control, and pneumatic down pressure.  When it is time for soybeans we drop the interplants and use the same planter for increased accuracy and placement.  We also use a John Deere 1890 no-till drill with a 1900 pull behind aircart to get those early beans in on time to maximize yield potential when the corn planter is busy planting corn.   This same 1890 no till air drill is used for alfalfa in the spring(with or without covercrops), covercrop in the the summer and wheat in the fall.  Dry fertilizer is used for a greater return per dollar invested in corn and wheat plantings.
