Community Involvement is important to Veldale.  A strong family, church, and community life are the nucleus of our business.  It is important to our customers, employees, and families. Attending local events, church suppers, pulling a neighbour out of the ditch on a snowy morning, being on the fire department, involvement in the Norwich Township Chamber of Commerce and Oxford Soil and Crop, and sitting on various boards are just some of the ways to give back to those who so graciously support us.

In June of 2016, we were given the opportunity to host Breakfast on the Farm organized by Farm and Food Care. This is another opportunity to educate the public on how food goes from the farm to the table.

Every year Veldale Farms Ltd. holds a customer appreciation day for all their seed customers.

Also in 2016, we celebrate 50 years of business and involvement in agriculture.

In 2019 Veldale farms was excited to host Ontario Premier Doug Ford, Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Minister Ernie Hardeman, and Environment, Conservation and Parks Minister Rod Phillips to discuss how the Federal Carbon Tax would increase costs & reduce competitiveness in agriculture. They also participated in a round table discussion with agriculture producers and industry representatives to discuss how the Ontario PC's could better support Ontario agriculture.
